Best Friend

Dear Best Friend,

Thank you for always being closest to me even when we were in separate time zones and separate stages of life, its been a year since we last met. Thank you for not letting us get split by dumb facts like distance or time. Thank you for never giving up on our friendship, for never shrugging and being like “Eh, things change, people change.”

Thank you for being a different friend than everyone else, different from the friends who are only there for the fun things, the shopping, chit-chats and gossips and all the silly moments we treasure for the past 23 years till today. Thank you for always being fun even when we’re not having fun. I don’t know how else to explain that.

Thank you for not judging me when I did something really stupid, but also thanks for telling me I was an idiot and probably shouldn’t have done the stupid thing. Thank you for always being honest. Thank you for being genuinely concerned with the outcome of my life and always listening, even when you’re tired. Thank you for telling me the things no one wants to hear and sparing the bad advice.

But most importantly thank you for simply being you, because, to put it lightly — I adore the shit out of you.
Love always,
Your best friend

Unwritten Book

Life is an unwritten book

We live in novels that have been created just for us. Worlds woven by words that we circle as though we are the Earth and they, the sun.You get to be the star of your own story, crafting it day by day, interacting with loved ones who are the stars of their own stories. As we all travel the pages it is our connections that make the tale worth telling.

The highs and lows keep the reader enthralled, but most of life's joy is found in the quiet passages, in the rich detail and the savouring your memorable moments.

It is in the realisation that happiness is a quiet emotion, and as such is not easily stored in long-term memories like the troubles and the triumphs, yet it is the very ink in our quills.

#Youth&Syle

To vogue life style is called the fashion

Source: The Odyssey Online

Modern youth today totally depend on fashion activities, without fashion our life has no palate since we have to adopt fashion in each and every phase in our life regardless of age. Fashion became a part of our life cycle.

Nowadays, there are plenty of national cultures in this rapid development era that make us feel very difficult to be familiar with other culture. As a teen we are pleasured due to colour of beautiful different things like fashion.

In the every era, people like fashion. Fashion has become every youth’s bread and jam the way they dress resembles who they are. People tend to focus on their dressing, hairstyle, footwear, walking style, way of talking and behaviour. In the race of fashions, girls have not lagged behindThey wear ‘sack shirts’ and trousers. Their hair-styles give them an untidy and shabby look, blindly indulging in the foot-steps of the film actresses.

Students devote more time to fashions than to studies. Educational institutions and, particularly colleges, present the picture of film studios. As soon as a boy or a girl joins a college, there occurs a marvellous change in him or her. It is a pity that modern students are caught deliberately in the whirl-pool of fashions.

‘Oh, what a nice phone case’

How the phone case became the most important part of your wardrobe

This year’s must-have accessory isn’t a handbag, it’s a Louis Vuitton phone case – sealing a trend that speaks volumes about our selfie-obsessed times

Louis Vuitton’s Eye-Trunk case

For the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2017 catwalk show, designer Nicolas Ghesquière had “a simple idea, yet no one had ever thought to do it before”. He reproduced “the finishing and intricate details found on an original Louis Vuitton trunk” in the Eye-Trunk iPhone case.
At the show in Place Vendôme in Paris, the very first model on to the catwalk wore a gunmetal grey draped jersey dress and carried no handbag, but instead held in her hand a phone case styled as a tiny version of the classic monogrammed trunk, complete with studded edging and a miniature gold lock. The case is now on sale, for £745. Jaden Smith has one. You should probably get one, too.
“The smartphone itself has ceased to be a status symbol, because everyone has one,” says Eleanor Robinson, accessories director at Selfridges. “But it’s still important to be seen to be on it. At fashion week, you see these girls typing away as they walk into shows and you think: ‘What’s really so important that you have to be doing it right now?’
The phone has become something that puts distance between you and the rest of the world. Status now comes from being busy, in having to deal with important emails or take photos to share with your followers. And so your phone needs to be in your hand, not in your handbag.”

Miracles Your Belly Button Can Do

By: Santtana LooganadenMiracles Your Belly Button Can Do

Its a healing remedy for different ailments as the belly button is the core of the body that connects to all parts of the body

They work! All of them!

Beautiful Scar

7 days have passed but I still want to congratulate all SPM 2016 candidates regardless of any result that you all get, I'm sure you all have tried to do your best. SPM is real key for you all continued to look ahead, and SPM is not a determinant of everything. So any result that you get, you must believe in the things that will exist in the future.

SPM 2011 approximately 5 years ago, taught me to keep going forward...

Aku pernah dihina disebabkan keputusan peperiksaan aku. Mulut dia tajam macam belati.

Aku pernah dihina disebabkan aku hanya budak kelas sastera...

Penghinaan dia semudah A,B,C 1,2,3... Senario dia lebih kurang nak periksa SPM. Seorang perempuan yang baru berusia 14 tahun, mempunyai teman lelaki berusia 17 tahun memandangkan teman lelaki dia adalah seorang budak sains. Dia tanya

Perempuan 14 tahun: "Gee (Nama sambilan aku) kau habis exam bila?
Aku: Pertengahan bulan 12

Selalunya budak sains akan habis lebih awal, pertengahan sastera dan diakhiri dengan budak account ini untuk sekolah menengah biasa yang lain-lain tak tahu.

Dia reply... "Oh BF aku habis dululah, biasalah budak pandai" seriously I don't even ask about your boyfriend. So what to mentioned budak pandai habis dulu, how about those yang ambil account? Are they stupid enough since they just playing with numbers.

But, I keep tellimg my self  "Chill! she's only 14 years old"

What hurt the most is when someone compare you with others, sakit... I cried every night. Selalu kita dengar ibubapa yang suka bandingkan anak tetapi sama sekali bukan ibubapa aku. They're not, they're good supporter and they love me no matter what result I get. Because of them I'm here now, aku ambil kesemua kata-kata penghinaan untuk aku terus maju.

Mirror Talk

'For these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the corrections of discipline are the way of life’

Do you talk to the mirror?
Well I do, people call it insane or more or less crazy, but little did they know talking to mirror is one step closer to attain your castle in Spain. This reverse psychology method is the most simple and effective yet powerful self-esteem and self-confidence building exercises, usually done to boast one's confidence and reduce the negative talk.

I started talking to mirror, probably at the age of 14. At the beginning it was because I had no one to talk to. Being the only girl surrounded with boys whom don’t really do ‘girly talk’, mirror was my escape.

Mummy scolds whenever I talk to myself or to the mirror but for certain reason I’d prefer the mirror as my companion. Why? Mirror reflects whom and what we are, no drama and it’s purely you and yourself. Smile to the mirror, it reflects your smile back to you. Simple as that. Do it every morning before starting your day and you’ll see  the difference in life. I did and right now there’s no one else I love more than myself.

Ringgit opens unchanged against US dollar

By:Santtana Looganaden

KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit opened unchanged against the US dollar today as investors remained on the sidelines ahead of the US Federal Reserve’s (Fed) decision on raising interest rates after its two-day meeting which will end today.

At 9 am, the local currency was flat at 4.4480/4530 against the greenback from Tuesday’s close of 4.4480/4510.
A dealer said investors have been cautiously awaiting the decision, prompting the greenback to strengthen against other currencies.

On the local front, except against the euro, the ringgit was traded mostly lower against a basket of major currencies.
The local note shed against the Singapore dollar to 3.1421/1461 from 3.1415/1456 on Tuesday and vis-a-vis the yen, it fell to 3.8756/8803 from 3.8638/8674 yesterday. It weakened against the British pound to 5.4092/4157 from 5.3928/3973 on Tuesday but advanced to 4.7216/7273 from 4.7322/7368 yesterday. - BERNAMA

Just like yesterday

It was just like yesterday,
I was standing alone,
Surrounded by strangers,
Did not know their names,
Themselves, their memories,
I was curious, I was afraid,
That maybe I will be walking alone,
Maybe I was thinking,
I was quiet and yes,
I was and will be like that,
nothing changes,
Sorry I must say,
For being like myself,
But thank you,
I was not alone,
I met with them,
Regardless of name and past memories,
Together we walk,
We will run, might fall,
But those will be the memories,
Wonderful and memorable,
That is today and tomorrow,
till forever.

The shine that glows beneath the darkness

Bury the people who tried to destroy you. Dig a grave, somewhere deep inside your mind.
Dig a grave for the ones that caused you such intense pain that you still wake up sometimes at night with their faces fresh in your mind.

Reading this, you’re going to think, this is easier said than done. How can you forget the betrayal, the hurt, the pain people caused you just like that?

The truth is, it takes time – sometimes months but time will heal the pain.

You must treat the pain they caused you. As a wound that needs to heal. And the rest of it will follow.

Close your eyes and imagine all the people that love you. Every single one of them.
Think of all of your happiest moments, the great amounts of joy they gave you.

Replicate them every time you feel yourself going down the dark path of heartache and pain because you are remembering the way you were betrayed. Because you are remembering those that hurt you. That is how you will bury them.

Beneath good memories and beautiful stories and the incredible things that make your life worth living and believe me the moment you realise this, the more you will enjoy this gift that is your life.
