Just like yesterday

It was just like yesterday,

I was standing alone,

Surrounded by strangers,

Did not know their names,

Themselves, their memories,

I was curious, I was afraid,

That maybe I will be walking alone,

Maybe I was thinking,

I was quiet and yes,

I was and will be like that,

nothing changes,

Sorry I must say,

For being like myself,

But thank you,

I was not alone,

I met with them,

Regardless of name and past memories,

Together we walk,

We will run, might fall,

But those will be the memories,

Wonderful and memorable,

That is today and tomorrow,

till forever.
